The article’s premise suggests that limiting access to content only by specific users via IPv6 and whitelisting will solve their problem of piracy, it’s still a short term solution and leaves a bigger issue of other content which users don’t want, shouldn’t have access too, and/or which compromise their systems! While I agree the user is the biggest threat to the desktop, enterprise, and content in the cloud, along with any lack of security on the net, I would suggest whitelisting and possibly IPv6 is the solution to solve both issues. Now if simple applications which utilized such would become available to consumers, and have the same support of these “leading web content providers”, it would go a long way to offer a long term solution to much of what ails the net today…
